When somebody has contributed to a V&V, this should appear in a section of her or his profile, so that people interested in a specific person can directly have acces to the documents he / she helped to produce.

If I am not interested in a group anymore (changed job, new focus, etc.) I want to have the possibility to remove myself from the group members without having to ask for permission to leave (ask group admin to remove me).

Having a rapid understanding of published articles and documents by reading the abstract increase the number of post you can go through, focusing on the ones you're most interested.

When you have already requested membership to a group, until your membership is approved, where the "request membership" button used to be, people should get the info: you have already requested membership to this group. Your request is beeing proceed...

Convert all docs/ files uploaded to images so users can flip through them online without need for downloading locally and opening in MS Office.

Downloading will still be needed for Editing but not for viewing

Rather than having just dull text lists on the group homepage, we could have much more graphic content with thumbnails of pictures and different CSS per content type : different for a document, different for blog post, different for event, different for users
